At Margaret River Surf School, we specialise in delivering safe, exciting and educational surfing programs for schools and corporate groups. Set against the stunning backdrop of the South West coastline, our group surf lessons are a fantastic way to build confidence, teamwork and ocean awareness. Whether you’re planning an outdoor education excursion, a school camp activity, or a corporate team-building day, our surf programs are tailored to suit your group’s needs and skill levels — from complete beginners to more experienced surfers.

Our surf lessons go beyond just learning to ride waves. Participants are introduced to vital ocean safety knowledge, including how to identify rips, understand surf conditions, and practice responsible surfing etiquette. Every session includes a soft-top surfboard and wetsuit, with a low student-to-instructor ratio (1:8) to ensure personal attention and safety. Our qualified and friendly coaches lead structured beach warm-ups, interactive team challenges, and in-water guidance, helping each participant develop skills and self-assurance — all while having heaps of fun in the surf.

We offer a variety of program options to suit your group: Beginner and Intermediate lessons, SurfGroms programs for ages 5–12, and customised Team Building experiences for corporate or leadership groups. Schools may also be eligible for fully funded SurfGroms programs through Sporting Schools. Discounts are available for groups over 8 people or for multiple bookings, and we’re happy to tailor a package to suit your curriculum or event objectives.
